You
are invited to attend a targeted one-day communications
programme conceptualised by Janine Lazarus Media Consultancy
for government departments, municipalities and public
service sectors in the spirit of the GCIS’s objective
to successfully meet its mandate: “To introduce
a system that is comprehensive, integrated and streamlined
and structured for delivery”.
We believe our
high impact programme for government communicators will
not only benefit the communicators themselves, but will
also ultimately benefit the people of South Africa by
equipping government communications teams with the tools
to communicate concise and impactful messages.
Customised Media Training is pivotal to the success
of any campaign and critical to managing reputations.
It is critical that communication officials constantly
develop their ability to drive insightful media plans
that support government campaigns, mitigate a media
crisis skilfully, and communicate key messages to the
nation through one of the most powerful communication
vehicles in the world today: The media.
Through
Janine Lazarus Media Consultancy’s training programme,
our goal is to equip
communications
officials with the confidence and media know-how to
effectively meet

Jacqui
O’Sullivan
Jacqui O’Sullivan is the
group communications manager for Sasol. She joined Sasol from
Motorola where she spent a year at the head of Motorola’s
communications and public affairs portfolio for Middle East
and Africa.
Prior
to joining Motorola, O'Sullivan was the spokesperson for South
African Airways (SAA), where she was head of communications
and corporate social investment. Jacqui’s move into
the airline industry was from Airports Company South Africa
were she managed communications for the then named Johannesburg
International Airport.
During her time in the aviation industry, Jacqui managed the
2006 attempted hijacking of an SAA aircraft, emergency landings
of various airlines, fuel shortages, fuel contaminations and
fuel leaks, industrial actions, armed airside heists, security
breaches, a number of deaths both within the airport and onboard
aircraft, financial results announcements, restructuring and
